Progress Recruitment Solutions (UK) Ltd is looking to recruit an Experienced Parts Advisor for our Main Prestige Dealer in the Reading Area.
To work for part of a large reputable group in the UK we are looking for Parts Advisor who is able to maintain the high standards expected by our automotive client and their customers, and who takes exceptional pride in their work.
As a Parts Advisor, your Key Objectives will be:
To source and supply vehicle parts efficiently for customers and workshop vehicles, meeting agreed sales volume targets and delivering excellent customer service.
Receive, record and bin parts and consumables from the manufacturer and other suppliers ensuring accuracy of stock deliveries against agreed orders.
Identify, locate, invoice and issue parts and consumables to customers and other departments using the computer system.
Supply accurate and detailed parts quotations to internal departments, retail and trade customers.
Administer parts invoices ensuring invoiced items are accountable.
Establish customers' needs for required parts, communicating relevant promotions and offers to customers when appropriate.
Manage and control all parts administration requirements.
Maintain standards in line with HSO requirements.
Manage any necessary liaison with department manager regarding customer dissatisfaction, following up in line with procedures.
Maintain safe working practices and abide by the working rules and standards.
Maintain product knowledge on the full range.
Maintain relevant systems ensuring accuracy at all times.
Skills and Experience Required
Applicants should have a background gained within automotive parts and exposure to a VAG Brand would be highly advantageous.
Those individuals whom have worked within other customer facing departments would be considered if they have the relevant systems experience; i.e. Kerridge, etc.
